The National Toothpick Holder Collectors' Society (NTHCS)

promotes and supports the collecting of toothpick holders, and provides education for both members and non-members by providing research, written documentation, new articles, and by participating in other collector-related events. NTHCS is open to anyone interested in the collection, research, and preservation of toothpick holders. The Toothpick Bulletin is the official publication of the National Toothpick Holder Collectors' Society. Members receive 6 issues per year. The Bulletin, edited by Marion Carrison, Mankato, MN, features a variety of informative articles related to toothpick holder collecting - identification of patterns, comparing old with new, reproductions, questions and answers, ads for buying, selling or trading, news from members &  new discoveries

The Annual Convention is held each August at different locations throughout the United States.
The 34th Annual Convention will be held in Hershey, PA on August 12 - 14, 2010. Convention events include educational seminars on studio art glass, Worlds Fair and many other activities.

The Wisconsin Pottery Association (Wpa) Invites You To Join Its Ranks. We Are A Group Of Pottery Collectors Who Share An Enthusiasm For All Types Of Pottery. Our Monthly Meetings Include Educational Presentations By Members Or Guest Speakers As Well As Informal Discussions And Displays Of Recent Finds Or Mystery Pieces That Members Wish To Share With The Group.

The Wpa Is A Non-Profit 501 ©(3) Organization Affiliated With The State Historical Society Of Wisconsin.  The Meeting Room Is Opened By 5:30, So People Can Bring Their Dinners To Sit & Talk With Others.  The Meeting Begins At 6:30 Pm  With Show & Tell, A Brief Business Meeting And Then A Featured Presentation . Often Our Presenters Are Authors Of Current Publications Or Otherwise Knowledgeable On The Topic Of The Month. We Meet In Madison At The Lussier Family Heritage Center, 3101 Lake Farm Road. Ten Meetings Are Scheduled Yearly And Are Held Generally On The Second Tuesday Of The Month.

Yearly Dues Are $20 For An Individual And $30 For A Dual Membership. Visitors Are Welcome To Attend At No Cost.  For Your Dues, You Get Mailed To You The Wpa Press Four Times A Year, Discount Book Purchases, Access To The Wpa’s Reference Books & Materials And Wpa Member Directory.
